Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to and use of the Eshrah website, applications, and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Eshrah is a technology platform connecting clients with independently practising UAE advocates and legal consultants for paid video consultations. The platform is not a law firm and does not itself provide legal advice.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or have legal capacity in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials confidential.

3. The Service

We provide a platform to discover lawyers, book consultations, exchange documents, and conduct video sessions. We do not guarantee that any particular outcome will be achieved. The Service may evolve, and features may be added or removed.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• Send spam, malware, or attempt to interfere with the Service's security.
• Probe, scan, scrape, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.
• Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.

5. Payments

Payments are securely processed by Stripe. Consultation fees are charged at the time of booking. By submitting a booking, you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge your nominated payment method for the displayed amount.

Applicable taxes, including UAE VAT where relevant, are added at checkout. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.

6. Lawyer–client relationship

Any lawyer–client relationship is between you and the individual lawyer you consult with. Eshrah is not a party to that relationship and is not responsible for the legal advice given. Lawyers are responsible for complying with their professional, regulatory, and trust-account obligations.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by the platform operator or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

8. Confidentiality

Information shared with a lawyer through the Service is treated as confidential. We maintain technical and organisational safeguards to protect that information; see our Privacy Policy.

9. Service availability

We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. Maintenance, outages, and third-party failures may affect availability.

10. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify the platform operator against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may close your account at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may retain data as described in the Privacy Policy or as required by law.

13. Governing law

These Terms are subject to applicable UAE law. The final governing-law and dispute-forum wording depends on the platform operator's UAE registration and must be confirmed before formal legal approval.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
